Megha's World

patrick-fore-381122.jpg
He made his place
with few upside chairs and an old ragged sheet
He dragged all the chairs together
to close the gaps in between
He cozied up the corners
with the biggest heap of pillows
he can find
And tucked each corner
so you can sit underneath and hide
For him its the safest place
a big old fortress
nobody can invade
He got the lights and his favorite books
and got all his favorite toys inside
Now he is just looking for his playdate
to play with him inside.

The sparkle in her eyes
as she sees him
the peaceful glean in her eyes
as he steps back in the household
It brings happiness
etched in her wrinkles
happiness radiating
from her crow’s-feet
A new wave of life and energy
flows through her old veins
the flash of happiness
through her cracked lips
the glow on her face
can put the sun to shame

The eternal wait and
constant worrying has
finally, come to an end
the moment he walks in
Her whole world is there
right at the moment
He is her epicenter again.

Her old bones have been
re-energized with the flow of
her love and passion
her instincts have been resurrected
from the deep slumber, they were in.
she again becomes
the epitome of care
making her mission
to shower her love
and gently wash away all his pain
Well, nothing can compare
the ecstasy of…

Daily Prompt-Coincidence

Was your meeting a coincidence?

Megha's World

This post is in response to the Daily prompt challenge for the word
Coincidence

Born a thousand miles apart;

breathing a  different world;

unaware of your existence;

a million lives apart.

Yet seem to resonate to the same tune;

heart swaying to the same rhythm;

sharing thought with just a glance.

There is so much different  and;

Yet so much same.

Now our lives are intertwined;

We finish each other sentences;

We share the sunrise;

and the calmness of the dawn.

Merged in a single lifetime ;

Brought together by mere coincidence.

Safe

We, humans, have the proclivity to shut down emotionally in a state of emotional crisis.We all feel that we are safeguarding ourselves from all the pain and angst by keeping the help at bay and downplaying the hurt we are going through. It takes a lot of courage to open to someone and to share your deep emotional thoughts with people around us. We all feel very vulnerable by doing so, but are we really keeping us safe this way?

Happy Peace Day!

What we really want in today’s world. Do we want companionship, passion, empathy, peace, happiness, brotherhood or just wanting to be accepted?

We always have a long list of things we want from everybody else but there is always nothing we can give to anybody. We read about grief and sorrow in all different form in this world and it kind of has made us immune against all of that.

We really have become completely immune to the human emotions.
We see a crying kid in the crowd and moves on.
We see a homeless person sleeping in the cold and move on.
We see people homes getting burned, loved one getting killed and gone in a second and we move on.

We move on and go on in our life.
Heading towards an invisible goal which even if we attain will never give us any satisfaction.
Once you achieve…

The heart knows…

Can you ever fool your heart?

Megha's World

Have you ever try to fool your own heart? Sometimes we do.Sometimes we try to distract us from the sad truths of life. Sometimes we utter white lies to ourselves so we can ease our existence in this chaotic world. But you know, the heart knows.

It knows everything.

will-oey-253882You cannot fill the gap of an empty heart with the feelings of fulfillment and abundance;
The heart knows how it feels.
You cannot fool the heart with treats and surprises;
The heart knows all our tricks.
You cannot fool the heart with whims and fancies of a fairy tale story;
The heart knows how to bleed.
You cannot fool the heart with a fake and empty smile;
The heart knows how to mourn.
The heart knows.
knows your desires;
Knows your needs;
Knows your fire.

You curb it and you shall die;
You curb it and you shall cry.

“Everyone has talent. What's rare is the courage to follow it to the dark places where it leads.”  --Erica Jong Creativity can take different forms and different directions. Megha's World

ben-white-128604.jpg
A calm evening in the arms of the loved one
A steaming cup of coffee warming your hands on
a rainy and cloudy day
A dance in the rain getting drenched
and not having a care in the world
Buying yourself your favorite flowers
Looking at the sunset
with your feet dipped and covered in sand
letting the calmness and stillness
seep into your soul
A lengthy call from a long-lost friend
when you needed the most
An unhindered kiss and a warm hug
from the love of your life
Re-reading your favorite book
or  listening to the favorite song played on the radio
on your way home
An unplanned kiss planted on your cheek
by those little hands and fingers
A whole bar of your favorite chocolate
and nobody to share with
Spending your whole day without a hint of worry and
anxiety.
What is your panacea for your broken soul?

Silence- A beautiful conversation

One of my favorite poem.

Reblogged this in response prompt Silent

Megha's World

marco-de-waal-151139

Silences between the conversationthe most beautiful feelingThe pause where the world stopsbut the feeling flows eternally

Silence of the heartThe rhythm to which the heart beats untuned with the chaos of the worldpaired only with him

Raindrops are mute toobut touches you whole as they make a trail on your skinwashing the hurt away and cleansing your soul

Silence in the beautiful moonlightflaming desires in the silent heartsThose unspoken vows keeps you entangled from the start

Silence of the deep riverin the flapping wings of the butterflysilence in the middle of the nightin the deepest of the woodswhere you soul commune with the god

Silence, it has its own languageThe most beautiful conversationIt will sway your heartOnly if you listen to it.
