Alone
Looking at the ceiling lying on my bed I think, what makes us feel alone What makes us feel so unwanted like an outcast Is it the betrayal of the lover? or Is the faith broken by a close friend, a confrere? Is it the selfish narcissist society who wants you to sing their praises … Continue reading Alone

Plethora
Come read this beautiful form of Poetry in Kate’s blog.
Wordsmiths have access to a plethora of words
Words which we weave creatively into poems
Poems are our vehicle to articulate meaning
Meaning gives our life worthwhile purpose
Purpose provides a focal point for our effort
Effort is vital for all achievements, our goals
Goals are healthier when aligned to core values
Values guide us as we eliminate use or abuse
Abuse must cease at every possible level
Level heads organically guide our growth
Growth is essential to improve ourselves and our life
Life is awareness of breathing, living in the now
Now is being in the present, confronting gain and pain
Pain is a test teaching us that we can conquer all!

My Salvation
This poem is in continuation of my micro poetry. Read Salvation.

As I dance till my feet bleed
the sweat pour out of my body
as tears of my soul
I dance till I drop dead
As I sing from my heart
till my voice turns coarse and harsh
and every word, every syllable
touches and turn my
wounds to gold
so pure
I sing till I go mute
As I write my poetry
till my emotions bleed on the
papers
turns it into crimson red
cuts the soul of my readers
till they cry from every pore
I write till my fingers bleed no more
As I open my heart
for you
and let you in
and turn in upside down
shred into bits and pieces
to make a comfy pillow to
rest your head on it
and sleep on it
till all your nightmares
leave your soul like…

Immigrant (Micro poetry)
Proof
I have read the fairy tales and
stories of love
for time eternal
they are as true as they come
if I could only believe
the prince charming for real
I have recited the verses of love
the sonnets
and the poetic metaphors
when you compared the moon to
to my beauty
to make me feel eternal
I have heard the serenade
looming and traveling
on the ripples of time
passed on as a folklore
a story weaved
so sublime
I have felt the connection
so surreal
it made my hair stand
on the back of my neck
and left a tantalizing
effect on my emotions
leaving them stunned
I have waited
all this time
eternally and patiently
for you to come
and sweep me off my feet
Darling, I have heard
your endless tales of heart
for time eternal
now shut your mouth
and kiss me
to make them real.

Risk
You pour out your emotions You put your heart out in the hands of a new soul you become vulnerable every minute every second you float You have spoken from the deep corners of your heart you are completely naked In front of a stranger stripped off your lies you can't fake it even for a minute … Continue reading Risk
Who is an artist?
Here is my interpretation of who really an artist is?
“An artist should create beautiful things, but should put nothing of his own life into them.”
― Oscar Wilde
He is an imposter, a fake.
Who hides his true identity
but reflects the feelings and emotions of the person
he is portraying in the purest form.
Someone who takes the form of a person,
thoughts, ideas, feeling etc.,
embodies them in the deepest possible way
So that, it is not possible for you
to separate the art from the artist
the emotions from the narration.
An artist is the closest and truest analogy of water
which doesn’t have its own shape, odor or taste
but seemingly takes the form of the container it is contained in.
An artist is like a roller coaster
who gives you a breathtaking ride of emotions
Jolting and scaring you to bits
giving you goosebumps
while giving you the ride of your life.
An artist…

Intersection
“Lovers don't finally meet somewhere. They're in each other all along.” ― Rumi I'm looking fervently for that limestone shade those crisscrossing lines where our dreams hope desires intersects as we follow our own trajectory but still, they interject; forming a a pattern of the love and its everlasting ephemeral touch those criss-cross that weaves … Continue reading Intersection

“because wherever I sat—on the deck of a ship or at a street café in Paris or Bangkok—I would be sitting under the same glass bell jar, stewing in my own sour air.” ― Sylvia Plath, The Bell Jar Spreading like moss covering from end to end and shaping its identity at the expense of … Continue reading Old companion
