Poetry published in the Headline Poetry Press in response to RoeVsWade

I’m so thrilled and honored to have my four pieces published as a response to the Roe Vs Wade in Headline Poetry Press. Really thankful to the EIC Hokis for giving me the opportunity.

They are currently taking nonfiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. Roe v Wade related could easily include the patriarchy, toxic masculinity, an ode to RBG, reproductive freedom, or SCOTUS. They hope to publish digital chapbooks along the way.  Chapbooks would available by direct donation to Planned Parenthood, and will be co-edited by Hokis and Lynn(e) Schmidt of @AbortionChat.

Headline Poetry & Press exists to feed, motivate, and renew the rising-above-rebellion of this Earthly time.  We seek work that tells a story, is relatable, and walks right up to the line of an issue – and sometimes with a toe or even an entire step over that line. We also seek an artistic quality that transports readers INTO themselves by way of a social issue. Work which affirms reminds, and moves humanity forward. We consider this brave, vulnerable, and necessary work.
