First Published in Vita Brevis Literature, July 2018 Your memories leave an impression on my soul like the careless fingers leave on the warm wax when held gently that indelible print like the scars the alabaster moon has on a dimly moonlit night Like the endless trails of a worm wriggling and dancing crawling leaving … Continue reading Impression

Reblogging in response to the daily prompt
Oh! Now I see an elephantmoving his trunk gallantly around;Walking in his own strideRumbling and thumping the ground. Now I see the caravan of ducksfloating awayin that wide blue river;and seagulls flyingand mocking them away. You look so delicious candy floss likeand it makes my mouth water;Wish I just could take a biteif you were any closer. Sometimes I see a baby cradled in his mother's lapSo soft and such a loving scene;and at timesI just get scared by the facestaring right at me. Fluffs just floating bygives me a calming feeling;tugs my heart and gives it a pushMakes me feel I'm swinging. Every time I look at youyou take a different shape;Oh! Dear cloudYou always stir the imagination in meEvery time I look your way.

One of my favorite poem. Reblogged in response to the daily prompt Faint
Night time, the most pleasant and serene time of the day. When the chaos is slowly fleeing your mind and filling your soul with the calmness night brings with it.There is so much going around us which gets blocked out or we miss due to the constant buzzing around us during the day.Night brings out all the sonic beauty in the nature there is.Listen closely, it’s telling you something!!
I can see the moon from the tiny window
I can feel the moonlight on my skin
It seems so far yet so near
It reminds of the days and the nights there have been
Everything is in rhythm and everything is out of sync
You feel the wind in your face and
And the moonlight falling on your skin
Hear the faint melodies in the midst of the chaos
And your lips sync to the songs you have long forgotten

My undying love for nature and immense love for dancing in the rain and getting drenched has inspired me to write the following poem.
