Poetry forthcoming in the anthology “Soul Spaces: Poems on Cities, Towns, and Villages” by Authors Press, India

SoulCiti

Honored to be part of the anthology “Soul Spaces: Poems on Cities, Towns, and Villages” by Authors Press, India. Immensely grateful to all eight editors for considering my work for this. A pleasure to share the space with such esteemed writers across the world. Looking forward to its publication. The book features the world of 89 poets from around the world. The eight editors include Anita Nahal, Basudhara Roy Chatterjee Cyril Dabydeen E. Ethelbert Miller Jaydeep Sarangi Malashri Lal Nandini Sahu, and Swati Pal.  My two poems ” Water’s Soul” and “Undying Charm” is part of it.

Arising from the perils of the recent pandemic, spaces and places have come to acquire a new and profound or altered significance. We believe the sheer magnitude of survival from a virus gone berserk seems to have impelled humans to question, challenge, withdraw or move, not only emotionally, but literally. We hope a poetry anthology about cities, towns, and villages is timely and will inspire hearts and minds to explore deep connections within themselves, with others, and with physical locales.

Happy Poetry!!
