List of Publications/Events/Press Mention for the month of January 2022

January is a month of new beginnings and promises, hopes, and desires for everyone. It started the same for me. The highlight of the month was the publication of my debut full-length poetry collection “My Body Lives Like a Threat” by FlowerSong Press. The special day came after a whole long year of waiting to see this fruit of labor out in the world. The publication of the book has joyfully started the journey of book tours, interviews, reviews, and publications.

Thankful to Dr. Anita Nahal for writing a review for my full length that got published in Different Truths Magazine managed by Arindam Roy. It was a pleasure to share the blurbs by Jacquese Armstrong and Pramila Venkatswaran for my full length.

The month followed with the brilliant news of me getting inducted into the 124-years-old organization, National League of American Pen Women. It fills me with a special feeling of pride and joy to be part of such an esteemed organization. I was also honored to be part of the global Panorama International Literary Festival, a month-long festival. Immensely thankful to Johanna Devadavayu and Preeth Nambiar for making me part of it.

In the series of promoting my full length, I was blessed with the opportunity of being a featured poet on Stone Soup curated by Chad Parantue and Saturday Afternoon Poetry curated by Don Kingfisher Campbell. I also did a book swap of my chapbook with Summer Dawn. Also, Thankful to Sagar Sharma for featuring me along with esteemed voices in his book “Writers Speak” published by Signorina Publications. Noted publications Include Vita Brevis Anthology,

Vagabond Anthology “Re-Imagine America” edited by Mark Lipman. It’s an absolute honor to share the space with the esteemed writers, poets laureates, and US Poet Laureate, Joy Harjo.

As the next step in my full-length promotion, I have started looking for venues ( In-person/virtual) to promote my book through book readings. If you have a platform and would like to support my work and a mission as a poet and a literary activist please reach out to me.

Looking forward to growing as a writer and a better human being following the journey of my little book.

Happy Poetry!!
