I’m thrilled to share the news that in addition of being one of the performing artists at the Paterson Poetry festival “The Women” exhibit featuring my poem “Definition” ,curated by the founder of the walk_bye, Catalina Arunguren will also be part of the Paterson Poetry Festival on October 1-3, 2021. The festival has been organized by the Paterson Poet Laureate Talena Lachelle Queen.
The Paterson Poetry Festival. This annual event is a celebration of words, writers and poetry lovers. The Festival was founded in 2018 and has been hosted ever since on the stairs of the Historic Passaic County Courthouse in downtown Paterson. The multi day event includes the Poetry in Motion Car Show with the Classic Riderz Car Club, The Paterson Poetry Festival Slam with a cash prize, Open Mic, The Speak Series/ Homage Stage, Lit Fest ( creative fun space for young kids), Youth Poetry Contest, Master Classes, Award ceremonies, vendors, and food. The Paterson Poetry Festival is the super bowl event for poets. People have traveled from all parts of the country to be part of the Paterson Poetry Festival that includes a bit of every artistic expression including visual arts, music and crafts.

Till today, Walk_bye exhibit “The Women” has been on display at the City Hall, Jersey City and the Berry lane Park, Jersey City.
The 4th annual Paterson Poetry Festival will be hybrid for the 2021 festival. While the in person performances are happening at 77 Hamilton St in Paterson, a series of virtual performances and a master class will take place simultaneously.
