Poetry Published in the Good Cop/Bad Cop Anthology by FlowerSong Press, 2021

I’m really thrilled to receive my copy of the anthology featuring few poems for the timely and powerful anthology called “Good Cop/Bad Cop” by FlowerSong Press. Immensely thankful to the EIC and publisher of the press Edward Vidaurre and Vincent Cooper for bringing this essential and timely anthology to fruition.

I’m excited to see my poems “A Nation in Chokehold”, “An Act of Self Denial”, “Bless us Lord for the Sin Free life we are living”, and “Peace a metaphor for denial”.

Edward Vidaurre is the author of seven collections of poetry. He is the 2018-2019 City of McAllen, Texas Poet Laureate, a four-time Pushcart-nominated poet, and publisher of FlowerSong Press. His writings have appeared or are forthcoming in The New York TimesThe Texas ObserverGrist, Poet LoreThe Acentos ReviewPoetrybayVoices de la Luna, as well as other journals and anthologies. Vidaurre is from Boyle Heights, California and now resides in McAllen, Texas with his wife and daughter.

Happy Poetry!!.
