Yesterday evening was one of the highlights in my creative journey as a panelist for the WNBA ( Women’s National Book Association )  “Women in Poetry’s Future “ event.I’m extremely thankful to Founder of Poetry Matters Project,Lucinda Clark  and WNBA Award Chair and National Co-Vice President, NC Weil for giving me the space and opportunity for sharing my thoughts. It was an an honor to share the space with Sophia Falco.

Technical help for the event was managed by Tabitha Whissemore.

It was an hour long session and I opened it with reading the poem “Just Another Day, Just Another Rape” Published in the anthology “The Kali Project”, Indie Blu(e) Publishing, which was my debut as an editor for the print anthology, and then explained the inspiration , the creative process and talked my upcoming Chapbook and Full Length collection and also the project LIQ with Stanford University. The reading was followed by questions from the audience and the moderators.

Here is the link to the session if you are interested in watching.
