Had an absolutely amazing experience at “The Box” Reinvention” event yesterday hosted and curated by JC Poet laureate Rescue Poetix and Ariel Guidry

From poetry, visual arts, dance to music, it was an evening immersed deeply in all genres of creative arts. The artist lineup was amazing, to say the least, and I was proud and privileged to read two of the poems spread across the length of the program. Honored to share space with Nancy Mendez-Booth ,Crystal Crustl Davis,Rescue Poetix, Frank Ippolito, Grabby Creery, Tamaka Bordeaux, Samantha Benvissuto, Ibn Sharif Shakoor Esthar Pagan and many more.

Love for creative arts, enthusiasm weaved with community solidarity spilled through the planned two hours to almost 3.5 hours but every minute was worth it. Crystal Crustl Davis of OpenRoad Poetry did an awesome job of simulating the virtual art gallery at the
Merseles Studios
I’m immensely thankful to Jersey City Theater Center Artistic Director Olga Levina and Beth Borror Cope for the event and for giving us this brilliant platform called “The Box”

The Box: Reinvention was supported by Visit Hudson NJ ,NJ Arts and Culture Recovery Fund, Princeton Area Community Foundation, Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, New Jersey State Council on the Arts City of Jersey City Official Government Page ,Greenville Community Plan
