Upcoming Full Length Poetry Collection “My Body Lives Like a Threat” by FlowerSong Press in 2021

I’m super excited to announce that my first ever full length poetry collection “My Body Lives Like a Threat” is going to be published by the Texas Based FlowerSong Press in 2021. I’m really excited to be part of the FlowerSong Press family and immensely thankful to the EIC Edward Vidaurre for believing in my work.

It’s huge honor and pleasure to be part of a press that has supported the work of literary greats like former United States Poets Laureate and Chancellor of the Academy of American Poets Juan Felipe Herrera, accomplished poets like Matt Sedillo among many others. I’m also lucky to be part of their upcoming anthology called “GoodCop/Bad Cop”

Edward Vidaurre is the author of seven collections of poetry. He is the 2018-2019 City of McAllen, Texas Poet Laureate, a four-time Pushcart-nominated poet, and publisher of FlowerSong Press. His writings have appeared or are forthcoming in The New York Times, The Texas Observer, Grist, Poet Lore, The Acentos Review, Poetrybay, Voices de la Luna, as well as other journals and anthologies. Vidaurre is from Boyle Heights, California and now resides in McAllen, Texas with his wife and daughter.
