“Wherever you are is the entry point.”
― Kabir

Sometimes I just want
to shatter myself
rip apart in pieces
shreds in small bits
so my beautiful soul trapped
in my ego laced body
can be set free
to roam the mountains and rivers
fly high in the cerulean skies
get absorbed in the dew drops and clouds
and fall softly back as rain
on all those parched souls.

Sometimes I just want to
break my heart
crack it up
in zillion pieces
pull it apart of my heart
squeeze the last bit of
drop from its veins
and gather those pieces again
to create a beautiful mosaic
a beauty for the world to see.

Sometimes I want to peel my skin
off my body
scrape and pull off the bits in the corner
of my bones
flay off all the pieces of it
imbued with pretense and debauchery
and weave it back dipped in moonlight

Sometimes I just want to start over all again.

  1. I think you do this every time you write. Metaphorically, you have that power. I love this thought and I think it summarizes what many of us feel at times. Beautiful writing, Megha.

      1. You are most welcome, my friend. Yes, perhaps the future generations will be born with a reset function so they can start life over.
