Haiku Published in the sound collage project of OCMA ( Orange County Museum of Arts), California, USA

I’m so happy that my Haiku became a part of the sound collage created by Alan Nakagawa by OCMA ( Orange County Museum of Arts) called the Social Distance, Haiku, and You!. Alan crowdsourced the 500 haikus to create a sound collage project in a duration of two weeks. LA-based sound artist Alan Nakagawa coheres the diverse experiences of our shared reality in this sound collage.

Below is the Haiku I have contributed based on the emotions driving us during the times of pandemic. My Haiku is on Page 4.

Haiku 

an indolent spring
islands of isolation
dahlias stooped with grief
