National Poetry Month Ekphrastic Challenge, a collaboration between poets and artists hosted by Paul Brookes

I’m so honored to be part of the monthly ekphrastic challenge hosted by Paul Brookes.

His annual challenge in the National Poetry Month has beautifully evolved to be a collaboration between various poets and artists. Each day the contributing poets receive am image and leave an ekphrastic response to it which he later complies. This actively growing collection of ekphrastic poems are a beauty to read.

I wrote the poem ” A frozen moment” in response to the above image. I’m so thrilled to be featured alongside Susan Richardson, Paul Brookes, Jane Cornwell, Jay Gandhi, Samantha Ali Jones, and Dai Fry.

You can read the collaboration here along with their audio recording.

Happy National Poetry Month!!
