Today’s prompt: Poet’s lips

Nothing ever surpasses
the fleeting beauty those lips carry
those intertwined crimson affair;
where orphan words and dejected verses
come for a safe haven

Seeking refuge in a world
full of chaos and dissonance
Nothing can give the bliss
of a milky frothy moonlight

to the fleeting thoughts in my reticent mind
morphing and molding them precariously
like the bony taloned fingers
molding clay on the potter’s wheels

Every amorphous beauty seeks its shape
every orphan vowel seeks salvation
every word turn into a sacred hymn
as they touch the poet’s lips
