Summertime ( Poem)

Those giggles and laughter
warms my soul
those innocent jumps
in the puddles
sets the joyful effect
spreads like a pleasurable sensation

those soft fingers laced with the mud
and those carefree guffaws
the park comes alive in the summertime
breathing a new life

when the kids with their laughter
and carefree smiles
rolls in the fresh cut green grass
and the apricity
of the warm summer sun
reaches our quaint town.

Today’s prompt:

Summer is a time for the laughter and light hearts of children.  Write something to make us smile using that a theme.

(Yeah summertime!☀️)
