Inspired by the sudden downpour and the beautiful weather which opens up after the rains, I wrote this poem. Hope you enjoy this poem. Please share your thoughts in the comments section.
“So I wait for you like a lonely house till you will see me again and live in me. Till then my windows ache.”
–Pablo Neruda
Layers of the fluffy clouds
cascading in the skies
holding and savoring
My love for you
To drench you
In rains
next time
Those dew drops resting on the petals
Lazily waiting for your touch
To give you that taste of petrichor
When you visit your flowers
next time
This waves rushing madly
To the shores
Crashing their desire
When not seeing you anymore
scoops more love from the beach
When it can touch your nibbly toes
It comes rushing
next time
Those changing seasons
Draping mother nature
In varied colors
To entice your soul
To sing you an aubade
To make you coming back
Holding my love gently in those
Curls of autumn leaves
So you come around to
Visit me
next time.
Come visit me, my love
