Poetry published in the Dissident Voice – “We don’t fear death”

I’m really excited to see my poem featured in the Dissident Voice. I’m really thankful to the Senior Poetry editor Angie Tibbs for accepting my poem.

Dissident Voice is an internet newsletter dedicated to challenging the distortions and lies of the corporate press and the privileged classes it serves. The goal of Dissident Voice is to provide hard-hitting, thought-provoking and even entertaining news and commentaries on politics and culture that can serve as ammunition in struggles for peace and social justice.

Happy blogging!

      1. When first told that I had mantle cell lymphoma I knew the survival rate was poor, initially, I responded but cancer returned and I am now medicating to slow the cancer. I came to terms with reality and with the poor survival rate. However, I have been battling now for four years and awaken each day to give thanks for the opportunities afforded to me. I know with tests and scans the time will come when results are not favourable, but I came to peace with that a long time ago. As I see it, I am dodging the swish of the Grim Reaper’s scythe and it is better to be playful and cheerful 🙂
