Here is my response to the “fading light ” prompt. Do share your with 4000 readers of the GoDogGo Cafe
That sliver of light
at the crack of the early dawn
laced with the hope and the desires
in equal proportionThat sliver of bright light
carrying a million dreams
as a speck traveling on its filigree endsThat sliver of light
the demarcation between the darkness and light
that thin fading light is the
hope I carry in my heart
that breaks the darkness within.
