Jealousy
A vice, a sin
one of the seven
a trait no one shows
but hides it all along
a fake message
an empty facade
harbinger of lies
hidden behind a
veil of deception
all the way
sugar-coated with love
support and affection
and raising its head
learns to live
another day
filled with malice
swirls your way into
your heart
tainting it
reversing your atonement
don’t let it fester
in you
nip it in the bud
before it devours you
scalded by it
you will be burn to bits
douse the fire
make it quit.
don’t let weave a labyrinth
Of lies
shrouded in mystery
A devil in disguise
The more you are imbued
with it
the more it takes you in
turns you into a deception
wearing a snake skin.
Jealousy
a vice, a sin
One of the seven

      1. Last night, I looked at my call log for this week alone. 5 lousy days and there were over 200+ between auto/health insurance companies, Comcast, and other nonsense in between. The only person I will speak to is my mom. She’s been pretty sick all week too. I wish I lived closer to her in order to take care of her.

  2. I’ve lost GREAT writing friends as a result of this. It won’t happen again. I have no time for jealousy anymore. One time it was cute but not I see it is destructive. Great post!
