PAINTED LOVE LETTERS By Megha Sood And Charles Robert Lindholm -A collaboration

So happy and excited to share my first ever collaboration with one of my favorite poets Chuck from The Reluctant poet. It stemmed from the micro poetry Regret and lead to the beautiful extension by Chuck. Please read and leave your precious feedback in the comments section.

(Megha)

Those Unsent Love Letters
Would Have Made You Fall
Helplessly In Love With Me

(Chuck)

Well, Not Really
They Would Have Made You
Fall In Love With The
Portrait Of Me
My Words Painted
In Love Letters

And I Only Regret
The Comet
That Was You
Flew Out Of My
Galaxy
Before We Could
Longingly Gaze
Into Each Other
Eyes
For A Thousand Years!

      1. Dearest Megha,
Just wanted to let you know, again! How wonderful it was to write this with you!! Really your first collaboration?? Or just with me? Either way a true honor!! You are such a precious and treasured friend!!! Perhaps, we should try this again sometime??

Finding this and reading it again was a real blessing for me today – July 4th, 2020. The 4th of July is a hard day for me – 44th anniversary of the loss of my brother, his choice. This was a sweet comfort for me to remember the joy of sharing this with You, Dear Heart!! Thank you so much!!
        Chuck
