As the sun goes down
my hunt begins
As I sniff you
and my animal instincts
takes you in

You can run
but you can’t hide
we are animals
the lone predators,
born to survive

You cannot deny
that beast inside
those bony fingers
and taloned hands
can dig and claw
it’s way outside

Don’t try to hide
Its just a ruse
a simple lie
I conjure up
for you and I

This life is a jungle
survive’s only
which is strong and brute
my love is like an infection
It’s killing me slowly
to be away from you

You can breathe and
pretend to be alive
But it’s our little made up lie
Till we douse ourselves
In the flames of passion
and do down screaming alive.

Let the hunt for love begins

  1. Looking to feast on love, the lover seeks out its prey. Love the image this presents for when the hunter claims the hunted, both are consumed.
