Megha's World

“if it doesn’t come bursting out of you
in spite of everything,
don’t do it.
unless it comes unasked out of your
heart and your mind and your mouth
and your gut,
don’t do it.”
― Charles Bukowski
Lost in your thoughts
in complete awe of your
lost in the reverie
of your shiny visage
taking stock of my emotions
Here I sit alone
in the moment of solitude
getting lost in the translation
of the most archaic feeling
and feeling completely bewildered
by the hopeless feeling
nestled deep down in
my sanguine heart
and trying fervently
to weave that nefarious plot
that ultimate deception
of tricking myself into
falling out of love.

  1. Wow, did not see the twist. I thought it would read something like, watch me weave my magic as I trick you to fall in love, too…. I could envision this, so vividly, trying to devise a plan to convince the heart to fall out of love. Awesome!
