This post is in response to the daily prompt Famous
She tries to gell with them Get carried away in the crowd Wants to be part of them wants to be in unison with their sound She tries desperately to dress like them sound like them and feel like them her identity shreds into pieces her soul ripped apart She has no voice left of her own He heart is screaming aloud Tears are rolling down silently she wonders how much more pain she has to endure How much more she has to put her through trying to fit the cookie cutter trying to be with "The popular"
This post is in response to daily word challangePopular
It is so heartbreaking when one tries hard to be “popular” and fails!

Too many in this world try to fit into a cookie cutter mold that is impossible to squeeze into. I think the first rule for anyone is to simply be who you are at the moment. However, I understand the pressures this world places on a human being. Awesomely said, Megha.

The need to fit in can be overwhelming – beautifully expressed! On a side note I think there may be a typo on this line ” He heart is screaming aloud” I think you meant to say ‘her’. 🙂
Lovely as always!

Sadly I’ve seen so many young people do this, and yet, even though they intuit it will fail, they still waste the energy and time. Amazing how the ego drives.
