Embrace

“When I hold you in my arms, I live inside your rainbow and you live inside mine.”

When I rinse and soak myself in the
copious amount of your daydreams
and crimson laced talks
sweetened by the lilies
and blooming in its
glory
and calm my blooming soul
to rest my
weary head
and the bleared eyes
to close gently
and rest on the fluffy
chunks of dreams
they give voices to my loneliness
and meaning to my soliloquy
and thoughts wander
giggle, laugh and play hide and seek
with my resplended mind
and my cauldron of thoughts
is brimming slowly and surely
simmering them
till they lie flat on my eyelids
making them heavier by each passing
moment
and leaving me supine
and vulnerable
utterly helpless
for you to come
and embrace me with your
thoughts
like a poetry
in the
wee hours of the morning.

  1. You really know how to weave imagery that makes a reader feel warm. Rinse and soak in copious amounts of daydreams – sigh, what a beginning. And that ending, embracing you with his thoughts… just dreamy. Love is truly a blessing and you have it in volumes!
