Musical box

“If one day I am given a moment in solitude with you.
I will trample the two worlds underfoot and dance forever.”

Moments of solitude
Not a drop of conversation
my heart speaking to yours
it doesn’t need any introduction
If only I could steal the moment
from the past
savor it and keep in my musical box
and play it again and again

when my heart fancies
you will always be with me
you will never leave
dance of the emotions
and locking of our gaze
one print of footsteps on the ground
time could never erase
If only I could steal the moment
from the past
savor it and keep in my musical box
and play it again and again

Watching the crescent moon
and the beauty it spreads
the melody of the crickets
hiding in the bushes somewhere
the only wish in our hearts
for that night to be never erased
If only I could steal the moment
from the past
savor it and keep in my musical box
and play it again and again

Intoxicated by your voice
and drunk on our dreams
the moment seems so blur
but the future looks so serene
longing for the unison
with our fingers entwined
If only I could steal the moment
from the past
savor it and keep in my musical box
and play it again and again.

I would play that music on
my musical box again and again.
