Wow!! I have been double nominated for the Liebster award by two of my fellow bloggers. Tejasvi Kashyap from Light Behind the cloud and Winnie from Musings. Yay!! a double nomination. I must be doing something right with my blog.

I’m so elated and surprised by the mere fact that our generous bloggers’ community has yet again found me worthy of an award nomination. I’m really thankful to them for spending their precious time in reading my bits of creativity.

Needless to say, they both are awesome bloggers in their own regards. While Tejasvi writings are more about her experience about her journey of her soul. Winnie jots down her journey as a mom of three teenager kids. Go, check out their awesome blog if you haven’t yet.

Since, it’s a double nomination I’ll take first five questions from both the bloggers and answers them honestly.

Here they are!

First five questions from Light behind the cloud

  1. What would you say is your best quality?

Hmm, I consider myself to be people’s person and I’m normally emphatic towards people problem. I guess to have compassion towards your fellow human in today’s’ world is one of the quality everyone should possess.

2. What are your dreams and aspirations?

Now that I am done with my academics and did my bit in the professional world too. Being a mother and a wife, most of my dreams are centered around my family. And now that I have started writing recently, I want to earn a decent recognition as a writer.

3. When did you first start writing?

I started writing almost two years ago but it was mostly in bits and pieces whenever I could get the time to scribble a few lines. I have been writing vigorously for the past few month since I have started my blog.

4. Do you have any favorite topics you like to write about? What are they?

I never thought about any topic to be favorite of mine while writing. I get inspiration from everything in daily life.Anything from Nature, parenting, mindfulness, inspirational and spiritual intrigues me. Writing about Love, passion, romance etc. and any aspect of childhood are my favorites.

5. What is your happiest memory?

The birth of my son is the happiest moment in my life. Every moment in the motherhood is a miracle on its own and the lessons of life I have learned being a mother are countless.

Now, Next five questions from Musings

1. What book are you reading right now? Please share a quote from that book.

Currently, I’m reading ” Milk and Honey” from Rupi Kaur. It’s anthology of poems divided into four categories namely Violence, Abuse, Love, and feminism. She is a Canadian poet and recently published her second book too. Her first book reached number 1 on the New York Time best sellers’ list.

Below is one of the quotes I really liked.

“no
it won’t
be love at
first sight when
we meet it’ll be love
at first remembrance cause
i’ve seen you in my mother’s eyes
when she tells me to marry the type
of man i’d want to raise my son to be like”

2. Who’s the most influential people/leader who had the most impact in your life? Why?

His Holiness Dalai Lama. His teachings and his writings have the most profound impact on me. He is a spiritual leader and also fights for the right of the Tibetans at the same time. His teachings about compassion and enlightenment in today’s chaotic world are most precious.

3. If you could meet the most influential person (past or present, who would it be and why?

His Holiness Dalai Lama. For reasons, I have answered already 😉

4. What is your favorite compliment you received about yourself?

I guess the answer to this would seem like blowing your own trumpet. But once a very close friend of mine told me the I was a bright light in her life. She was going through a very rough phase in her life and I was lucky to be with her.

5. Is there something you would want to change in yourself?

Oh yes, definitely. I react very strongly to situations while I’m trying to sugarcoat this, I’m really trying to say that I would really like to be more patient in my life. I react to things very fast and very strongly and sometimes it bites me back.

Phew, so I finally managed to answer all the questions asked. Those were some amazing questions and  I really enjoyed answering them. Hope you like reading them too!
