Reality

“Reality exists in the human mind, and nowhere else.”

Reality cries and sobs alone

So afraid of getting lost

in the jungle of false truths

It reels in all the pain and angst

by fighting day in and night

So scared of not coming out of it alive

Reality cries and sobs alone

she is surrounded by the

facade of empty threats and  deception

Nobody believes her anymore

every one questions her conviction

Reality cries and sobs alone

Lost in the crowd of haters and deceivers

Trying to scream her truth out

but choking on the false hopes

every time she sees a way out

Reality cries and sobs alone

Maybe nobody can feel her anymore

Everyone is hiding behind a mask

There is a big masquerade ball going on

Reality cries and sobs alone

she should know this by now

that all her screams and cries

is falling on the blind eyes and deaf ears

That she is living among

the living dead after all.
